Inventory Control Warehouse Representative
The duties listed below are intended to outline those functions of this position. The duties are not intended to be all-inclusive or to limit the discretionary authority of supervisors to assign other tasks of a similar nature or level of responsibility.
Responsible for maintaining inventory integrity at the prescribed level of accuracy to include physical inventory levels, system data integrity, control of daily cycle counts and adjustments to inventory resulting from cycle counts.
Understand and follow all safety guidelines for the department and company.
Comply with laws and regulations as they pertain to services provided by the Company. This includes supporting and demonstrating compliance with the Company’s Compliance and HIPAA Plans.
Identify, support and demonstrate the Company’s culture and values as well as departmental sub-cultures to insure quality service to both internal and external company customers.
Maintain cycle count schedule as published for all internal business units as well as third party inventory.
Maintain inventory accuracy at or better than prescribed inventory accuracy guidelines.
Count predetermined areas for cycle counts.
Conduct problem solving with issues like, but not limited to, unit of measure, packaging and case identification.
Monitor product expiration dates while counting.
Assist in training representatives on cycle counting methods as needed.
Communicate all problems requiring management involvement.
Maintain open communication with the Inventory Control Department.
Communicate case pack discrepancies to the Inventory Control Lead.
Assist in managing new item set up to include cubiscan and locator assignment bar code.
Maintain physical location integrity to include location labels, item labels, parts boxes and min/max inventory levels as applicable.
Assist inbound operations in resolving problematic item numbers and license plate number (LPN) research, etc.
Understand the appropriate use of warehouse technology and operate RF equipment and computers/WMS software.
Assist the Inventory Control Lead in making product moves as required for proper warehouse profiling.
Monitor and manage where items are located to appropriately size prime location to minimize task replenishments.
Prior warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
Prior experience with warehouse management and RF systems preferred.
Detail oriented; speed and accuracy is required.
Ability to work co-operatively with internal team members.
Ability to lift 40-50# regularly and up to 70# with assistance.
Ability to stand for long periods of time & complete physical tasks – climbing ladders, stooping, bending, kneeling.
PC literacy in MS Windows.
Ability to operate an order selector required.
